The fat-shaming doctor survival kit [Updated:August 2015]

*of course you could simply change your doctor, but if you can't find a body size friendly doctor or can't for any reason show them how smart you are. School them at their own game because they will just bully someone else.

Because when they (or maybe you have "that" friend or family member) think EVERYTHING is related to your weight sounds really silly, but is not unheard of. It might be from not eating HEALTHY,or exercising, but that has nothing to do with SIZE or WEIGHT. Change your doctor because this doctor is bias and uninformed, or mean. But in the meantime, show him or her this (on your ipod, ipad, tablet, give him or her the link, etc) and tell them to shut up!

**= Goes to the article, not my blog post.
Check out my site Chunkealthy Diet... healthy eating directed towards people who love eating "junk" food.

GMOs, Processed/ refined, Fast Foods,etc @ Chunkealthy Life - because if you think health problems are caused by weight and not pesticides that are so harmful the people spraying them can't be in contact with them, you are stupid

A great way to take care of numerous issues is to be mentally healthy and lets face it, when you are discriminated against for your weight it is hard. When problems may be because of stress, or other mental reasons (or not eating healthy which is what this site is for) people always blame weight. Balance your inner mental and spiritual health @ Calm Mind Open Heart

Before we start, I wanted to tell you that it’s really important to me to feel that I have a say in the medical care I receive. I want to do my best to ask for the medical care I need, and I can’t do that if I feel pressured to lose weight. So, I am not interested in pursuing or discussing weight loss. Can we agree on this?”And if your doctor says no, then ask them what they need to proceed, but make sure not to budge on the non-negotiable: that you aren’t interested in pursuing or discussing weight loss or being made to feel ashamed of your body size.

Certainly not to improve her vital signs, which are all excellent."Pg. 12 Big Fat Lies by Dr. Glenn Gaesser
