The Atmananda Yoga Mat -Align Your Body, Protect Your Joints

If this does not get made, you can make your own!

"The Problem:

On a plain yoga mat many yoga practitioners question if their hands and feet are in the right place, or wonder if their stance is too short or too wide in certain poses.
This confusion not only inhibits the practitioner from the full meditative benefits of a yoga class, it also puts the practitioner in serious risk for physical injury from overstretching the ligaments and joints.

The Solution?  The Atmananda Yoga Mat™!

The Atmananda Yoga Mat ™ was designed with mathematically placed, easy to follow lines and shapes that help keep the body in the correct alignment when practicing, resulting in less stress on ligaments and joints.
The lines and shapes also help the student receive the maximum benefit out of each pose. Proper alignment is essential, as it helps the body to open faster, promotes advancement to more challenging yoga postures, and ultimately aids in the achievement of "the perfect pose".
The "perfect pose" is achieved when there is no stress in the body while doing a yoga pose. The mind is still and connected to breath, the body is totally open and energy is free-flowing. This is the ultimate goal of yoga.

Made of natural rubber and robust Jute material, this is the mat design and color that is being offered in our Kickstarter campaign.
The Atmananda Yoga Mat ™ is a patented (#USD699980) and trademarked design. It's made of a robust Jute material and natural rubber, so it's better for your body and better for the environment.

Check out Oh, How She Blooms

"It is time.  No more looking back.  All that I have gone through, all that I have experienced, has led me to be the person I am today.  All of the good and the bad, equally, have brought me to right now.  “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was greater than the risk it took to bloom.”  I am so, so ready to bloom.
Picture
I will start today.  I will share my story with whoever is willing to listen.  I will hope and pray that someone, somewhere will be impacted by what I say.  I hope they feel hope.  I hope they learn to look in the mirror and love the person they see.  I hope they feel peace...and surrender...and beauty...and love."

What is DDP Yoga?

Note: Remember it's up to you if you want to lose weight, but all people of every body size need exercise to be healthy.

"Hey guys!  It's me, DDP.  That's right, former 3-time WCW World Champion Professional Wrestler.  If you were never a fan of wrestling, that's ok... because what I'm doing now is so much cooler.  For the last 12 years I've been focusing on developing this amazing new workout system, and I actually have been able to help a lot of people along the way!  I honestly believe that everything I've done in my life has put me in this exact spot... helping others change their lives in a positive way is what I was truly meant to do.  A lot of guys tell me they thought DDP doing some form of Yoga was a huge marketing gimmick, but it couldn't be further from the truth.  DDP Yoga is something I believe in with all the passion in the world.  I have seen it change lives first hand.

So before you go any further, if you haven't watched it yet... take 5 minutes and watch the following video.  It may just show you why I don't mind skeptics... I welcome the opportunity to show them what is possible with the right mindset and the right work ethic.  DDP Yoga isn't a gimmick... see for yourself:"

Why did I develop DDP Yoga?

Necessity! Here’s my back story. I didn’t become a pro wrestler until I was 35 and my career didn’t take off until I was 39. At 40 I was one of the top wrestlers in the world and then at 42 I suffered a potentially career-ending injury. Three doctors said my wrestling career was over. Around that time my wife said I should try yoga to heal my body. I was like, yoga — you’re kidding, right? I always thought yoga was a bunch of spiritual mumbo jumbo. But I was desperate, so I gave it a shot. I was blown away by the fact that yoga was actually helping my body and my mind! But as good as I was feeling, the reality was thatyoga wasn’t giving me the intensity I needed in my workout.

So I started looking at other exercise techniques to help me build more strength. I also wanted a full-blown cardio workout that wouldn’t beat up my body. I teamed up with trainers, nutritionists and kinesiologists and ended up with a workout where I took the basic principles of yoga blended with elements of strength conditioning, Pilates and mixed martial arts.

Now I had invented an “all-in-one-workout” that gave me intense cardio with no impact on my joints, increased flexibility and strength conditioning… and I called it DDP Yoga. Think of it like this: If yoga is a bicycle then DDP Yogais a Harley! They both have two wheels, but that’s where the similarity ends.

I did DDP Yoga every day and it allowed me to achieve what everyone else believed was impossible. In less than three months I worked my way back to the ring. At 42 years old the doctors said my wrestling career was over, but because of DDP Yoga, at 43 I achieved my ultimate goal in professional wrestling and was awarded the World Heavyweight Championship Title — an honor I went on to hold on three separate occasions.

The bottom line is that I had to open my eyes and realize that flexibility is youth, not just in the body, but also in the mind. Once my mind became flexible… everything else followed.

Like anything in life, you are going to get out of DDP Yoga whatever you put into it. So let me ask you again… what do YOU really want? If you do DDP Yoga three days a week I guarantee it will change the way you feel. If you do it four times a week, it will change your life. If you do it five times a week, you will Own Your Life.

If you want to see the kind of results you can get with DDP Yoga, click on the TRANSFORMATIONS button at the top of the page. You will see how DDP Yoga has changed the lives of people just like you. As you cruise around the site you will be inspired by other people’s stories, but nothing will be more rewarding than seeing how your DDP Yoga story could end up inspiring someone else. Once you order DDP Yoga, you get free access to my online community, TEAM DDP Yoga.

I set it up to give you all of the support you’ll need to reach your goals on your DDP Yoga journey. Join Team DDP Yoga and become a part of our online family! Follow all the instructions and don’t forget to take all seven of the DDP Yoga strength and flexibility pictures exactly the way you are today. These pictures will keep you motivated as you shed pounds, get stronger and feel better immediately. You should take the same pictures every month on the exact same date. You will not believe how quickly your body and your life will change! If you are trying to lose weight then this is also important… make sure you take all the body measurements and weigh yourself on a monthly basis.

Do Curvy Yoga with Anna Guest-Jelley!

Taken from The Curvy Yoga website:

"I’m Anna Guest-Jelley, founder and CEO (Curvy Executive Officer) of Curvy Yoga — a training & inspiration portal for yoga students and teachers of all shapes and sizes who want a body positive practice that supports them in exploring what body acceptance means to them.

As a writer, educator & lifelong champion for women’s empowerment & body acceptance, I’m here to encourage people of every size, shape age, experience level & ability to grab life by the curves.
And never let go.....

HOW CURVY YOGA WAS BORN
As I moved through my own Yoga adventure, I realized that there was a big, gaping hole in the Yogaverse — a space where curvy women could get information on how to start a yoga practice. Safely. Serenely. At home.

And then I discovered another big, gaping hole — a space where yoga teachers could learn how to guide & instruct their curvy students. Without worrying that they were doing — or saying — something w-r-o-n-g.
I looked for support, and found misinformation, mystification — and a maddening lack of options. (Boo.)

So I created a big, curvy website — and a big, curvy business — to offer tools, techniques & resources for yogis & teachers alike. Curvy Yoga was born. (Yes, you may cheer.)

OFF THE MAT. INTO THE FUTURE.
Curvy Yoga is celebrating its fifth year of classes, courses & collaborations. Needless to say — this lovefest just keeps getting better!

Stay on the radar for more local classes, live events and oodles more!

It just keeps getting Curvier up in here. And I’m honored you’re part of our community."

Who is Sadie Nardini?

"
When Sadie says she can rebuild your life from the ground up, and help you tackle any of life’s challenges, truly rocking your world from the inside out, she knows what the she’s talking about.

As a teen, Sadie suffered from an un-definitively diagnosed central nervous system illness that rendered her nearly paralyzed for over 2 years. She fought back for the next decade, attempting to conquer a disease that doctors told her likely wasn’t possible to heal from.
It worked.

Instead of investing in a wheelchair as she was encouraged to do by physicians, she invested in yoga, a whole food diet, and mind-centering techniques to create a miracle.
Sadie Nardini
Sadie NardiniToday, Sadie is one of the fiercest yoga and wellness leaders in the world with a mind, body and spirit that is healthy, strong and capable of greatness. From being told she might never walk properly, and certainly never run or work out, to doing handstands and traveling internationally to teach yoga and empowerment, she’s come a long way, baby….and so can you!

All of Sadie’s offerings on this website and beyond are designed specifically to use the simple secrets and techniques that will effect the most change, fast, to build you a new, improved body, and transform your relationships, success, money, and self-esteem for the best.

Today, Sadie has become a role model for balanced living, empowerment, and fitness through yoga, real-food diet and practical action steps. Sadie understands that it’s only when you balance all the parts of you—relationships to self and others, healthy eating, mindful workouts, centered finances, creative expression and more, can you truly hope to stop merely existing, and start enjoying a whole, happy and healthy life.

Yoga Inc.

Note: Yoga, as a whole, is not about business, but about inner peace. However, like  numerous other things, there are some bad seeds.

"World Yoga Champion Esak Garcia and his guru Bikram Choudhury want yoga accepted into the Olympics. Bikram, the 'Bad Boy of Yoga', has also copyrighted his yoga style, demanding teachers play by his rules or stop teaching. Now yoga chains ('McYoga'?) are popping up everywhere, putting smaller studios out of business. Can yoga survive with its good karma intact?"
