"The word Gnosis is derived from the Greek language and means “knowledge of an intuitive nature; the intuitive apprehension of spiritual truths.” Gnosis is a knowledge that cannot be arrived at through books or lectures, but rather through one’s own direct experience. This knowledge or wisdom, therefore, is not found outside of us, but within ourselves."

"The mission of Gnosticism in this age is to deliver the method and means for the work of the realization of the inner Man in each one of us; the attainment of this transcendental objective depends on our cooperation with the Being.
The divorce between science and art, philosophy and mysticism has provoked the deterioration of this generation. We don’t appreciate the poetry of nature, the harmony that emanates from the universe, and so human relations have become cold: our heart is unmoved by human suffering.
The Gnostic teachings are based on the communion between science, art, philosophy and mysticism; they seek to rescue the highest values of the human being in order to be able to comprehend that life is empty without the pursuit of transcendence and the self-realization of the Being.
This would not be possible without the development of superior emotion, which humanizes science, sublimates art, elevates philosophy and crystallizes mysticism."

I comfort the afflicted by taking their side in the battle against Liars and Frauds, I afflict the comfortable who have benefited from such evils. Always. I fill a niche which doesn't exist elsewhere, presenting these Truths and backing them up with demonstrations in empirical fact and in transcendental logic, seeking no priesthood over others in any way. Check out The Spirit of the Scripture
When they state do not ejaculate, they don't mean like, hold your penis or anything. They mean mentally. Use your thoughts to control your body. If you can't that is okay, don't freak out!
"Welcome to The Spirit of the Scripture, a blog dedicated to discussing the hidden meanings beneath the literal interpretations of the Bible. This blog is written and maintained as a personal spiritual development tool, and it is my hope that traditional Christians may especially benefit by making a paradigm shift from religion to true spiritual development. Here you can read articles that encourage you to ditch religion and embrace the inner or esoteric meanings of the Biblical text. Most religious leaders have encouraged people to connect to God from the outside. This is impossible, and the Bible has always been a road map showing us the way to God from the inside, through experience, and only by understanding the spiritual (abstract) meanings found within the Biblical text can you receive spiritual and consciousness maturity; a literal interpretation has never produced spiritual growth! The Biblical stories are some of the greatest stories ever recorded, but millions of Christians and non-Christians alike have been taught to interpret them in a way that produces religious-minded individuals and sacrifices their true spiritual development.

Read God-Man: The Word Made Flesh by George W. Carey
"2013 Reprint of 1920 Edition. Exact facsimile of the original edition, not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. George Washington Carey (1845-1924) was an American physician known for his 'chemistry of life' publications, a subject which he referred to as biochemistry. Carey combined a mixture of religion, astrology, physiology, anatomy, and chemistry, themed particularly with a mineral-based theory of human disease to explain his views on human chemistry.

He continues to be popular within new-age and homeopathic circles. In the context of a person viewed as a "human molecule", Carey was the first to state that a person's body is a "chemical formula in operation." Partial Contents: Redemption of Humanity; The Kingdom at Hand; Books Rejected by the Council of Nicea; Man was Made Upright; The Eternity of Perfection; God's Word Revealed; Great Pyramid; Optic Thalamus; The central or Single Eye; The Solar Plexus; Prophecies Fulfilled; Sacred Books of the East; The Mystery of Santa Claus Revealed; The Revelation of Hermes; The Secret Doctrine; Reincarnation; The United States Seal; Glossary."

BASIC BELIEFS GNOSTIC/ Check out The Song of God website &book & online gnosistic church
"1. The only proper religion for mankind is humanity itself, for it is from this humanity that God first evolved.
God, who is our future, came from humans, who are Their past.
2. God is a glorified and exalted human being.
3. It is morally wrong to kill a human in the name of religion, nationalism, or justice, for whenever we kill our fellow man, we strike at the very birthseed of God.
4. Evolution and natural selection are correct principles of creation, and it is through this creative process that God and Heaven came into existence and continues to evolve. All things which are real must, of necessity, have a beginning. To say that God has no beginning is to say that God is not real. As true Gnostics, we believe that God is very real.
5. This earth upon which we live is the very first from which God evolved. As a consequence, this world is known by those who believe as the World of the First Power.
6. The material world contains within its mortal, physical nature, the very essence and similitude of all things wondrous and eternal. Unlike the false Gnostics of ages past, we do not believe that the material world is evil.
7. The concept of God is represented by two distinct and separate persons, our Heavenly Father and our Heavenly Mother.
8. We are the literal spiritual offspring of God, and have the capacity to become just like our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother if we so choose.
9. The Holy Spirit is no less than the office of the Heavenly Mother, and it is she who inspires and guides us through our mortal life experience.
10. It is holiness, benevolence, and wisdom which define the nature of God, not power, anger, or hate.
11. True worship is the imitation of God’s goodness; it is to imitate the character, disposition, and attitude of our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother.
12. The Song of God, as written by Azrael Ondi-Ahman, contains the true thoughts and feelings of our Heavenly Parents, and these scriptures are the cornerstone of our faith. As true Gnostics, God has provided us with our own original book of scripture, which scriptures contain the true and living gnosis of our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother."

Gnosis of Easter @ Gnosis teachings
"This Holy Day is actually far older than Christianity. The name “Easter” is derived from the Old German name “Ostara,” and, in Anglo-Saxon, Eastre, or Eostre, the goddess of spring, fertility, and the rising sun. This name is a variation on the name of Ishtar, the Babylonian and Assyrian goddess of love and fertility.
Throughout Europe were celebrated rituals and sacrifices in recognition of the movement in nature from death (winter) to life (spring). These traditions were gradually absorbed by the evangelizing Christian movements. But the movement of the Sun, in its triumphant march toward the heavens, has been celebrated by people the world over. The spiritual value of Easter is reflected in the traditions and mythologies of many cultures and religions, all of which symbolize the esoteric or root meaning: the triumph of the Christ over the ego of the penitent seeker.....
The term Christ is derived from the Greek krestos, which esoterically means fire. Christ is an energy. This energy can incarnate within the human being. Those who earn this sacred gift can then be called "Christ." The Christ is represented in many religions.
Christ is Ormus, Ahura-Mazda among the Persians, who is the antithesis of Ahriman (Satan).
Christ is Vishnu in the sacred land of the Vedas. He is the Second Logos, sublime emanation of Brahma, the First Logos.
The Avatar Krishna is the Hindustani Jesus. The gospel of this Master is similar to the gospel of the divine Rabbi of Galilee.
Fu-Ji is the Cosmic Christ among the ancient Chinese, the one who wrote the famous I-Ching, the book of laws, and who designated Dragon Ministers for the good of humanity
Osiris was in fact the Christ in the sunny country of Khem, in the land of the Pharaohs, and whosoever incarnated Him was an Osirified One.
Quetzalcoatl is the Mexican Christ, who is now dwelling in distant Tule. - Samael Aun Weor, The Three Mountains
The Christ is widely represented by the Sun, the giver of light and life. In Kabbalah, we speak of the Christ as the Solar Logos: the Sun that illuminates the Tree of Life.
In the West, Jesus of Nazareth, who was actually named Jeshua ben Pandira, incarnated the Christ. He became the Son of the Sun, the Light of the World. He taught the path to do as he had done. He synthesized the path in this way:...
rucifixion can be understood as derived from the Latin cruce (cross) and the ancient Greek figure of Ixion, who was tied to a flaming wheel as a punishment for his sin
The cross is amongst the oldest and most universal of religious symbols. It is always a symbol of sacrifice and repentance. ...
The cross has four points. The cross of the initiation is phallic; the intersection of the vertical phallus in the feminine cteis forms the cross. It is the cross of initiation that we must carry upon our shoulders.
We must comprehend that the cross with its four points symbolizes the four cardinal points of the earth: north, south, east, and west; the four ages: gold, silver, copper and iron; the four seasons of the year; the four phases of the moon; the four ways of science, philosophy, art and religion.
When we speak about the four ways, we must comprehend that the four ways are really one way. This way is the narrow and straight way of the razor’s edge, the path of the revolution of the consciousness.
The cross is a very ancient symbol that is continually utilized in all the religions of the world. One who considers it an exclusive emblem of a religious sect commits an error. When the Conquistadors of Spain arrived in the holy land of the Aztecs of Mexico, they found crosses upon all the altars.
The sign of the cross, as in the sublime monogram of our Lord the Christ, the cross of Saint Andrew and the miraculous keys of Saint Peter are all marvelous replicas of equal alchemical and kabbalistic value. It is therefore the sign capable of securing the victory for the laborers of the Great Work.
The sexual cross, the living symbol of the crossing of the lingam-yoni, has the unmistakable and marvelous print of the three nails that were used to immolate the Christ-matter. These nails are the image of the three purifications of iron and fire. Our Lord could not achieve the Resurrection without them.....
The intersection of the vertical phallus within the horizontal uterus makes a cross. This is something that can be easily verified.....
While the profane symbolically recognize the renewal of the earth through this natural ritual of spring, we Gnostics celebrate the union of our spiritual consciousness with our Innermost through Christ our Solar Hero, or fire of Kundalini. With our transmuted sexual force we descend into the dark depths of our own underworld, our subconsciousness, infraconsciousness and unconsciousness, and by experiencing Easter within our physical, psychological and spiritual nature we return into the light realms of the Solar Logos or Cosmic Christ, but now possessing an awakened and Christified consciousness. This is how we transfer our spiritual identity and unite it to the Christic Cosmic Consciousness.....

A Homily for Easter Sunday by Rev. Steven Marshall @ Gnosis (dot) org
"In
the same fashion we must approach the mythic event of the resurrection
of Jesus on more than one level. We must not succumb to the easy
conclusion that the symbolism of the death and resurrection of Christ,
the dying and renewing God, is nothing more than an image of earthly
fertility and cyclical life. Because the story of the resurrection comes
from the mythic dimension of reality, it transcends in great measure
the limitations of earthly cycles and nature; there is indeed a great
deal more to it. The cyclical rise and fall of vegetation through the
cycle of the seasons, the death and resurrection of Christ, does not
have tremendous meaning as the fertility of the earth but has its deeper
and more profound meaning in the fertility and creativity of the human
spirit.
Although
many of the Gnostic scriptures abound in agricultural allegories,
particularly in the Gospel of Philip, Gnostics are not so much concerned
with the outer and ongoing cycles of death and renewal in nature but
with the inner resurrection of the human spirit, the liberation and
rising up of that immortal spark of the divine light within us. However,
this inner resurrection is not entirely restricted to the human sphere;
like the Buddhists, with their compassion for all forms of sentient
life, we, as Gnostics, also look to the liberation and gathering of the
sparks of light among all sentient beings, whatever their place on the
spiral of manifest life. Yet before we can assist in the liberation of
other forms of life, we must ourselves seek liberation and the
resurrection while in this flesh. As the Gospel of Philip states in
regard to the Resurrection, “If you do not receive it while in this
place, you will not receive it in the other place.” The inner
resurrection is the gnosis of the immortal light-spark within us, a
conscious recollection of one’s own divine heritage and immortal being."

Read The Hermetica: The Lost Wisdom of the Pharaohs by Timothy Freke
"Here is an essential digest of the Greco-Egyptian writings attributed to the legendary sage-god Hermes Trismegistus (Greek for thrice-greatest Hermes)?a combination of the Egyptian Thoth and the Greek Hermes.

The figure of Hermes was venerated as a great and mythical teacher in the ancient world and was rediscovered by the finest minds of the Renaissance. The writings attributed to his hand are a time capsule of Egyptian and Greek esoteric philosophy and have influenced figures including Blake, Newton, Milton, Shelley, Shakespeare, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, and Jung.
Providing a fascinating introduction to the intersection of the Egyptian and Hellenic cultures and the magico-religious ideas of the antique world, The Hermetica is a marvelous volume for anyone interested in understanding the West?s roots in mystical thought."

What was the The Thunder, Perfect Mind poem?
"The Thunder, Perfect Mind (the title may alternately be translated The Thunder, Perfect Intellect) takes the form of an extended, riddling monologue, in which an immanent divine saviour speaks a series of paradoxical statements alternating between first-person assertions of identity and direct address to her audience. These paradoxical utterances echo Greek identity riddles, a common poetic form in the Mediterranean. Moreover it is an non-epistolic, non-narrative unmediated divine speech. There are some translations to the right from the same section of the poem. Line numbering is different in different translations.

The Story Of The Storytellers - The Gnostic Gospels From Jesus To Christ @ PBS
"The Gnostic Gospels
The 52 texts discovered in Nag Hammadi, Egypt include 'secret' gospels poems and myths attributing to Jesus sayings and beliefs which are very different from the New Testament. Scholar Elaine Pagels explores these documents and their implications.
From The Gnostic Gospels
by Elaine Pagels
Vintage Books, New York: 1979
pp. xiii-xxiii
In December 1945 an Arab peasant made an astonishing archeological discovery in Upper Egypt. Rumors obscured the circumstances of this find--perhaps because the discovery was accidental, and its sale on the black market illegal. For years even the identity of the discoverer remained unknown. One rumor held that he was a blood avenger; another, that he had made the find near the town of Naj 'Hammádì at the Jabal al-Tárif, a mountain honeycombed with more than 150 caves. Originally natural, some of these caves were cut and painted and used as grave sites as early as the sixth dynasty, some 4,300 years ago."

What is the Testimony of Truth?
"The Testimony of Truth is the third manuscript from Codex IX of the Nag Hammadi Library. The copy of the manuscript from the Nag Hammadi Codices is in very poor condition and is almost too fragmentary to read and comprehend. The text is different from many other Christian texts in that it doesn't portray martyrdom as something to be glorified:
and
Testimony of Truth, also tells the story of the Garden of Eden from the viewpoint of the serpent. Here the serpent, long known to appear in Gnostic literature as the principle of divine wisdom, convinces Adam and Eve to partake of knowledge while "the Lord" threatens them with death, trying jealously to prevent them from attaining knowledge, and expelling them from Paradise when they achieve it..

The foolish, thinking in their heart that if they confess "We are Christians," in word only but not with power, while giving themselves over to a human death, not knowing where they are going or who Christ is, thinking that they will live while they are really in error, hasten toward the principalities and the authorities.
and
But when they are "perfected" with a (martyr's) death, this is the thought that they have within them: "If we deliver ourselves over to death for the sake of the Name we will be saved." These matters are not settled in this way. But through the agency of the wandering stars they say they have "completed" their futile "course", and [...] say, [...]. But these [...] they have delivered themselves ...

What is the text Life of Adam and Eve
"The Life of Adam and Eve, also known, in its Greek version, as the Apocalypse of Moses, is a Jewish pseudepigraphical group of writings. It recounts the lives of Adam and Eve from after their expulsion from the Garden of Eden to their deaths. It provides more detail about the Fall of Man, including Eve's version of the story. Satan explains that he rebelled when God commanded him to bow down to Adam. After Adam dies, he and all his descendants are promised a resurrection.
The ancient versions of the Life of Adam and Eve are: the Greek Apocalypse of Moses, the Latin Life of Adam and Eve, the Slavonic Life of Adam and Eve, the Armenian Penitence of Adam, the Georgian Book of Adam, and one or two fragmentary Coptic versions. These texts are usually named as Primary Adam Literature to distinguish them from subsequent related texts, such as the Cave of Treasures that includes what appears to be extracts.
They differ greatly in length and wording, but for the most part are derived from a single source that has not survived,:251 and contain (except for some obvious insertions) no undeniably Christian teaching.[clarification needed] Each version contains some unique material, as well as variations and omissions.
While the surviving versions were composed from the early 3rd to the 5th century,:252 the literary units in the work are considered to be older and predominantly of Jewish origin. There is wide agreement that the original was composed in a Semitic language:251 in the 1st century AD/CE
