I am in with the anti-vaccination crowd and I know the problems that vaccinations can cause, but when I have a child I'm going to have him or her vaccinated. Why? Because I'd rather my child have Autism and just be really creative and think differently than die from measles at a young age or have to suffer slowly and become disabled from Polio because I was so scared to have him or her vaccinated. As Seth MacFarlane wrote " I'm not polluting my kids with vaccines. Now Kayla, finish your cotton candy before you get soaked in chlorine on Splash Mountain." Quit being stupid and get your kids vaccinated. Talk with your doctor about what you can do to lower the risks of anything you are afraid about, load your child up on fruits, veggies, grains, etc before getting the shot and after the shot because those help build immune systems to fight off the bad things in vaccinations that people are afraid of. Fruits and veggies can't;however, fight off f*%$* Polio. It is scary, but it's just the lesser of two evils. It's one of those choices you have to make that you know is bad, but not making it is much, much worse. You body can rebuild and repair itself and any damage done when putting a vaccine into your child's body can be repaired by feeding your child whole foods (which you should be doing anyway). Whole foods; however, can not cure Polio or Measles as they are way too strong for the body to fight. It is also noted that Autism and other problems that parents are so afraid of are caused by those sugary drinks and fast food places, but no one has a problem pumping their child full of quick and easy microwaved meals. I feel bad putting something into my child's body that can cause harm, but I would feel worse watching my child suffer or die because I didn't get him or her vaccinated. Or, knowing I caused the death of another person because I was stubborn. Autism, and any other problems that vaccines "cause" can be managed through therapy and other means, deadly diseases that can come from not being vaccinated can't.
Get your freakin' child vaccinated.
