Cancer research WITHOUT using animals
We are funding projects into various cancers that do not use animals and are human-relevant.
• At the University of Portsmouth we are funding work to develop a 3D in vitro human model of the blood-brain barrier to study brain tumours instead of using rodents: http://bit.ly/1OaoAtG
• At the University of Glasgow we are funding research into leukaemia that uses patient-derived stem cells to replace the thousands of mice that are currently used in this field: http://bit.ly/1aNMdpf
• At Plymouth University we’re funding research using human cell culture to study specific brain tumours which will help replace the use of mice that are genetically modified to grow tumours: http://bit.ly/1DI0tu5
We rely solely on donations to fund this important work. You can help us by making a donation today: http://bit.ly/1aNMCrK or via PayPal: http://bit.ly/1cUNcpt.
