Going vegan could improve mood, productivity of workers at your company, study shows

"While the research needs broader study, it raises an interesting idea for executives regarding their own workforces. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention puts the cost to employers from lost productivity linked to depression at about $44 billion annually. The CDC estimates the annual cost of obesity, including medical expenditures and absenteeism, for a company with 1,000 employees is $277,000 per year. And according to a Gallup poll, the cost of lost productivity due to obesity results in about $153 billion annually.
