Recipe:
1 cup vital wheat gluten flour
1 package active rapid rise yeast
1 tsp tumeric (adds to the color)
3/4-1 cup water (add water slowly)
Seasoned flour to dip the mixture in
Salt & pepper to taste
Step 1: Mix all dry ingredients together and then slowly add 3/4-1 cup water. The gluten flour will quickly absorb the water. Mix thoroughly and knead for 1-2 minutes to work in the seasonings. Cover the bowl with a damp warm towel for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Boil water using vegetable stock order seasonings. Heat up a pan of oil to around 350°.
Step: 3: Uncover and punch down the dough. Pull off a fist sized portion, stretch it out. Place it in the boiling water for 1-2 minutes.
Step 4: Using tongs remove the mixture from the boiling water and dip it in the seasoned flour and add immediately to the oil.
Step 5: Cook the vegan fried chicken until golden brown and then remove from the oil.
Step 6: Drain using a paper towel for strainer.
That's it! You can now enjoy vegan fried chicken"
Note:I used different seasonings than just tumeric. Make your own awesome seasonings. Adobo, pottery,etc.
