McDonalds Vegan Big Mac Recipe

"Sauce 
1/2 tsp brown sugar  (Try buying pure cane sugar, or turbinado Sugar)
1/2 tbsp ketchup 
1/2 tbsp vegan mayo 
1 finely minced white onion 

Other ingredients for burger assembly 
1 gherkin(pickle) thinly chopped into small slices 
1 1/2 finely chopped iceberg lettuce 
2 vegan cheese slices 
4 white burger buns, (the other two will be used for the bottom part only to make the middle bread slice) 

Burger 
1 white onion,chopped fine 
1/4 tsp garlic powder or 1/2 clove garlic minced 
1 tablespoon oil for frying 
1 400 g can chickpeas, rinsed and drained 
1 cup bread crumbs (two slices of white or brown bread) 
Sauce 
Mix all the ingredients together until it goes pink, and set aside. 

Burger  assembly directions

Fry one white onion with the garlic powder or fresh garlic until cooked through. Set aside 
Drain and rinse a can of chickpeas. Mash up the chickpeas in bowl with a fork or in a food processor. Then in a large mixing bowl add the cooked onions, the barbecue sauce and the salt and pepper, as well as the bread crumbs. You can add olive oil if you think the mixture is a bit dry. 

Combine all the ingredients and form into patties. Fry the patties in a little oil until golden brown and crispy at the top. Now you can form your burger. 

Take the bottom part of the bun and spread a little sauce on it evenly. Now place the lettuce, cheese, burger, onion and pickle. Now add the another bread slice, this is the bottom of the bread. Now put some more sauce, then some lettuce, veggie burger, onion and pickle. Now put place the top of the burger on,"
