The Banshee Chapter was an amazing movie! it is one of the few horror films I could watch over and over again. It stars the detective from Monk which I thought was going to hinder my view of the movie (since it is weird seeing him play another character).It did not, he gave an amazing role which could be compared to Johnny Depp's character in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. This movie was comedic at times, but in a realism sort of way. There are so many factors to the horror these people experience and it is not done in a cheesy, or overdone way as many movies do. What makes it scarier is how real the villain is and how some of this movie is based on the MK-ULTRA scandal and how it is rotatable even today.
