"After a nearly decade-long wait, Gunnison sage-grouse may finally receive needed Endangered Species Act protections.
This unique ground bird was found in 2005 to have declined in
population enough to warrant addition to the Endangered Species List,
but appointees in the previous administration interfered with the
listing preventing this crucial protection.
Now, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed finally granting this species protection. Please take action and tell USFWS Director Dan Ashe that you support safeguarding Gunnison sage-grouse before it's too late."
