Ed Hardy

"Ed Hardy was a clothing line founded by Sarah Larson, based upon the integration of the tattoo imagery of artist Ed Hardy into a fashion line. The company was owned by Christian Audigier and the Australian branch of Ed Hardy was owned and operated by Gary Berman until it closed in 2010. "In this character-viewer interactive mockumentary, Indie runs a trans-media music news company where the entire staff goes by the name of the genre they follow the stereotype of. Indie is the hipster boss who sends posers to giant rats, Hip Hop is the head of marketing who is far from a Hip Hop stereotype, Metal is the head banging head of production with a teenage daughter and a pregnant wife, Idol is the social media guru obsessed with One Direction and Justin Bieber, Scarfman is a pile of scarves who looks like a guy, Techno and Dubstep are the ravers who can't go an hour without dancing, Scene is the hyperactive intern who is clearly not emo and obsessed with Indie, and Intern 2 is... just that, he's also friends with Hip Hop. 50 Shades Of Nerd

Drake wannabees, Japan-o-philes and Asian Gangsters certainly aren’t cliques you would’ve found in high school 20 years ago. And a “nerd” might have been more monolithically caricatured as Screech from Saved by the Bell… instead of today’s breed of nerds that run the gamut from anime players to orch dorks to even “popular nerds.”

While cliques are a timeless high school institution, MTV Insights has found that cliques have morphed to reflect the increasingly diverse, unique and fluid nature of the Millennial generation. We had high schoolers in our nationwide MTV Creative Lab (hosted by Ypulse) diagram their high school cliques. ...
